road to sanskar valley

This is a silver print photography of a glacier’s ice tongue on the road to the Zanskar Valley in Indian Tibet. Here, the mountains average an altitude of 3,600m and sprinkled with peaks as high as 7,000m. Manually printed in a darkroom, without any digital process, this silver print photography signed and numbered by the artist Guillaume Decoorne will never, like all the photos on this website, be printed in more than 30 copies.
